About this lab
Good AI governance makes decisions safer and easier to defend.
AI compliance and governance is the practice of making AI use understandable, controlled, and accountable. It connects risk assessment, policy, privacy, controls, evidence, and decision rights so an organisation can use AI without losing sight of its obligations.
This lab focuses on transferable governance work rather than one regulation, industry, or software product. You learn to map systems, test controls, document decisions, prepare evidence, and recommend proportionate action that people can defend.
Your first brief begins when a business team asks to deploy an AI tool without a complete record of its data, owner, or risks. You create the inventory, identify the material questions, and recommend controls that can operate in practice.
What you'll build: AI inventories, audit reports, privacy assessments, guardrail configurations, risk evaluation frameworks, and governance documentation.
The curriculum
Turn governance into operating controls
Move from knowing the rules to operating the controls. Each phase turns a decision into evidence you can explain, test, and defend. Preview the opening phase, then unlock the complete lab when you purchase access.
Self-paced: typical completion varies by lab and starting point. See the study commitment below for the expected range.
